I had the 10oz Rib-eye steak which was succulent and cooked to perfection and more like 12-14 ozs and the huge pile of chips were crisp and fluffy, The star of the show however, was the large side-dish of buttered cabbage, melted cheddar and crispy chorizo - a meal in itself. My wife had a jumbo hot dog - which turned out to be 3 top quality plump pork sausages with a pile of wonderful chips filling a large crusty baguette - with a mass of homemade coleslaw on the side (there was no room on the large plate for that). This was no simple 'hot-dog'. The portions were (a little over) generous and the quality was tip-top. The Wellington is the best value for money pub we have found so far (and we have tried well over 50 South Devon pubs to-date) - and is now in our top 3! We will definitely return!
